We believe in the power of second chances, and we don’t think society should wait until someone is released to start helping them change. At Goals for Life, we’re creating a pilot program to work directly within prisons, bringing hope, purpose, and real transformation to inmates while they’re still incarcerated.
Our goal is simple but powerful: help people turn their lives around 180 degrees before they walk out of prison, so they return to our communities ready to contribute, not repeat the past. We can’t afford to wait. Protecting our communities means transforming lives now, not later.
Through our Prison Visits and Inmate Training Programs, we bring sports activities, such as tournaments and motivational talks, as well as books and other resources, directly to inmates. Participants learn teamwork, discipline, and conflict resolution through sports. We help them see a different future, one where they belong and can make a positive impact.
We partner with local authorities to make sure our programs fit the needs of each facility and individual. Every session is a step toward breaking the cycle of recidivism, reducing stigma, and opening doors to new opportunities.
Through this work, we’re not just helping individuals, we’re protecting and strengthening our communities by giving people the tools to change their lives before they’re released.
Everyone deserves a chance to contribute positively to society, and that chance starts now.
